The Ajax Superior TurretCam HLVF 4MP is a professional-grade wired IP security camera designed for high-performance indoor and outdoor video surveillance. Featuring a 4 MP high-sensitivity image sensor, motorized 2.8–12 mm varifocal P-Iris lens, hybrid IR and white-light illumination, intelligent AI detection, and two-way audio, it provides exceptional flexibility for residential, commercial, and industrial security applications.

The motorized varifocal lens allows installers to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle and focus, making it ideal for locations where a fixed-lens camera cannot provide the required coverage. The P-Iris system automatically controls the aperture to maintain image sharpness, exposure, and depth of field as lighting conditions change.

For nighttime surveillance, the Superior TurretCam HLVF uses hybrid illumination, combining infrared and visible white light. Infrared illumination provides visibility at distances up to approximately 60 m (196 ft), while white-light illumination reaches approximately 40 m (131 ft) and can provide detailed color images in low-light environments.

Built-in AI-powered object recognition identifies people, vehicles, and pets, helping reduce unnecessary events and making recorded footage easier to search and review.

The camera also includes dual built-in microphones and an integrated speaker for two-way audio, along with external audio input/output and alarm input/output connections for advanced professional installations.

Video can be recorded locally using a microSD card up to 256 GB or centrally through an Ajax NVR. Support for H.265, H.264, MJPEG, ONVIF, and RTSP provides additional flexibility for video storage and system integration.

Installation is simplified with PoE 802.3af/at, allowing power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable. A 12 VDC power option is also supported.

Designed for demanding environments, the Superior TurretCam HLVF features an IP67 weather-resistant and IK10 impact-resistant enclosure and can operate in temperatures from approximately -40°F to +140°F (-40°C to +60°C).
