MotionProtect Outdoor features dual PIR sensors combined with Ajax's LISA and SmartDetect algorithms to accurately distinguish human movement from environmental interference, dramatically reducing false alarms. The adjustable detection range can be set from 3 to 15 meters (10 to 49 feet), while intelligent pet immunity ignores animals up to 80 cm (31.5 inches) tall when installed correctly. An advanced anti-masking system continuously monitors attempts to block or tamper with the detector, providing reliable perimeter protection in demanding outdoor environments.

Using Ajax's encrypted Jeweller communication protocol, MotionProtect Outdoor communicates securely with compatible Ajax Hubs over distances up to 1,700 meters (5,600 feet) in open space. The detector is housed in an IP55-rated weather-resistant enclosure and can operate on its pre-installed batteries for up to 5 years, with the option of an external power supply for permanent installations.
