This product is the North & South American Frequency version designed for use in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America. It is not compatible with Ajax systems operating on European frequencies.

MotionProtect monitors rooms up to 39 feet (12 meters) and detects an intruder from the very first step. Advanced temperature compensation automatically adjusts sensor sensitivity as room temperatures change, ensuring dependable performance throughout the year. The detector is ideal for homes, apartments, offices, retail stores, and other indoor spaces requiring dependable perimeter and interior protection.

Built-in pet immunity allows MotionProtect to ignore animals weighing up to 44 pounds (20 kg) and up to 20 inches (50 cm) tall when installed according to Ajax recommendations, making it an excellent choice for homes with dogs and cats.

MotionProtect communicates securely with compatible Ajax hubs using the encrypted Jeweller wireless protocol, providing reliable two-way communication up to 5,575 feet (1,700 meters) in open space. Installation is simple with the included SmartBracket mounting plate, while configuration, diagnostics, sensitivity adjustments, and system testing are all managed remotely through the Ajax Security System app.

The pre-installed CR123A battery delivers up to 5 years of operation under typical conditions, minimizing maintenance while providing dependable professional security.
