An Ajax Hub is required for operation as LeaksProtect is a part of the Ajax ecosystem.
Ajax devices work by the secure and completely reliable Jeweller radio protocol, so they do not rely on wifi connectivity to work. The LeaksProtect water leak detector can be placed in locations where wifi strength is non-existent or poor and will still consistently deliver the alarm to the Hub.
Product Overview
LeaksProtect is a wireless leak detector that notifies both in case of a leak and when the water dries out. Developed only for indoor use. LeaksProtect connects to your Ajax security system via the protected Jeweller radio protocol. The communication range is up to 1300 meters in line of sight. Also, LeaksProtect can be connected to third-party security systems using the Ajax uartBridge or Ajax ocBridge Plus integration modules. Users can configure LeaksProtect via the Ajax app for macOS, Windows, iOS, or Android. The system notifies users of all events through push notifications, SMS, and calls (if activated). The user can connect the Ajax security system to the central monitoring station of a security company. It can be used in conjunction with Ajax WaterStop to create automatic water shut-off scenarios.
