MotionCam (PhOD) detects human movement up to 39 ft (12 m) while intelligently ignoring pets weighing up to 44 lbs (20 kg) when properly installed. The built-in HDR camera captures clear images day or night using integrated infrared illumination, delivering encrypted photos through Ajax's Wings communication protocol while alarm events are transmitted using Jeweller wireless technology. Communication with a compatible Ajax hub reaches up to 5,577 ft (1,700 m) in open space.

Photo verification dramatically reduces false alarm dispatches by allowing users and monitoring stations to see what triggered an alarm before responding.
